Awarding Body Audits

What types of audit do we carry out?

We carry out audits to examine each aspect of our regulatory requirements.

We can also carry out scoped audits which are designed to look in greater detail at specific areas of the awarding body’s activity.

Both types of audit can be carried out at awarding body premises or remotely from the SQA Accreditation office. This will be determined by our Quality Enhancement Rating (QER) process.

Audits are supplemented by provider monitoring activity.

What is the outcome of the audit process?

Audit reports are written by exception focusing only on those areas where corrective action is required or recommended.
