Forms for Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Credit Rating

Use the following forms when undertaking SCQF credit rating using our methodology.

The Credit Rating Form is used for your recommendations on level and credit for each unit. The first part requires that you compare the content of the unit with the SCQF level descriptors. The second part requires that you calculate the notional learning hours for the unit and the resulting credit value.

The Qualification Grid has a dual function. It records the qualification structure showing mandatory and optional sections, as appropriate. It also records the SCQF level and credit for each unit and how you have determined the overall level and credit of the qualification.
